Flower Shop Warsaw by District: Where the Florist Is, Where the Flowers Go, What It Costs

Warsaw is eighteen districts on two banks of the Vistula, and if you are new to the city, “flower shop Warsaw” is a less useful search than “which florist covers my recipient’s district, how fast and for how much”. The honest answer from a local studio is simpler than the map suggests: one workshop, one price, one delivery time for the whole city, with a few practical differences worth knowing before you order.

This guide walks through Warsaw district by district from the perspective of IFIORA, an independent florist with a studio in Mokotów that delivers only within the city limits, and explains the Polish words you will see on the way.

The rules that do not change by district:

  • Delivery: 3-4 hours from order acceptance to any address in Warsaw; 29 zł below 500 zł, free from 500 zł; express within 2 hours – 50 zł after confirmation.
  • Same-day only for orders paid before 16:00 and confirmed by the studio; Monday-Saturday, no Sunday delivery.
  • Greeting card and standard wrapping are free; chocolates and balloons are paid; 7-day freshness guarantee.

Mokotów: where the flower shop is

The studio stands at al. Polski Walczącej 30, lok. U3/A, 00-712 Warszawa, in Mokotów. One of the largest districts, from the office towers of Służewiec to the quiet streets of Sadyba by the river. You can visit Monday to Saturday, 10:00-17:00 and buy a bouquet in person, or order online for delivery. It is the closest district to the workshop, but the published time stays at 3- 4 hours; the studio does not promise “faster because you are near”. Details for locals are on the Mokotów florist page.

Ursynów and Wilanów: family orders in the south

Ursynów is a large residential district along the first metro line, full of young families, where birthday bouquets, flowers for grandparents, and baskets for children’s parties are a natural fit. Wilanów, with its palace and the new Miasteczko Wilanów quarter, is the natural address for housewarming flowers and wedding orders. Both are covered on the same terms as Mokotów; the studio has a separate florist Ursynów page for the southern districts.

Śródmieście, Wola, Ochota: the office districts

The city centre and the business quarter of Wola around the new skyscrapers are Warsaw’s most “corporate” addresses: flower boxes for a colleague’s promotion, arrangements for a company anniversary, thank you flowers for a whole department on 8 March. When ordering for an office, enter the company name, floor and reception in the address field and give the recipient’s phone number – the courier agrees to hand over at the front desk. If the flowers must arrive before the end of the working day, pay before 16:00 and wait for the confirmation; for large team orders, contact the studio in advance – the florists help with a colour plan and a convenient day. Ochota, with the Polytechnic, adds student orders: a thesis defence, a graduation, a favourite lecturer.

Żoliborz, Bielany, Bemowo: the quiet north

Żoliborz is villas and green streets, Bielany is large housing estates next to the Kampinos forest, Bemowo is new-build blocks in the west. Many parents and grandparents who moved to be near their children live here, so think birthday flowers, roses for anniversaries and “just because” bouquets sent from abroad. One piece of advice matters more here than anywhere: give the recipient’s Polish phone number. If grandmother does not answer the intercom, the courier calls her directly.

Praga-Północ, Praga-Południe, Targówek, Białołęka: the right bank

The right bank of the Vistula – the old tenements of Praga, Skaryszewski Park and Saska Kępa, then Targówek and the fast-growing Białołęka further north – is the longest drive from Mokotów, and the price and time are still the same: no surcharge for crossing the river, delivery within the standard 3-4 hours. On peak days (14 February, 8 March, 26 May) same-day confirmation for the far bank is harder to get, so order two days ahead.

Wawer, Rembertów, Wesoła, Ursus, Włochy: the edges of the city

The outer districts – Wawer and Wesoła in the south-east, Rembertów in the east, Ursus and Włochy in the west by the airport – are all inside the administrative border of Warsaw and therefore inside the delivery area, on the same terms as the centre. The border itself is the limit: Piaseczno, Łomianki, Legionowo and Marki are outside, and the studio neither delivers there nor forwards the order to another shop. Every bouquet is delivered by the team that made it.

Świeże kwiaty in every district: how the studio keeps flowers fresh across the city

“Świeże kwiaty” – fresh flowers – is the phrase every Warsaw florist prints; what backs it up is the process. At IFIORA, the flowers wait in a cold room, the bouquet is made only after payment, and a courier from the studio takes it straight to the address; the 7-day freshness guarantee is the same in Białołęka as in Mokotów.

  • “Świeże kwiaty” – fresh flowers
  • “bukiet” – bouquet
  • “zamówienie” – order
  • “dostawa na terenie Warszawy” – delivery within Warsaw
  • “w ofercie” – in the range

  • “styl” – style; “czas realizacji” – preparation time
  • “kontakt” – contact page
  • “dzięki” – thanks
  • “W Warszawie” simply means “in Warsaw”
  • “na Instagramie” – on Instagram

IFIORA’s site works in English, Polish and Russian, so the dictionary is only for comparing other shops.

The Warsaw florist market in one paragraph

Warsaw has a rich floral scene. Its florists offer a wide range of styles and use modern techniques; eco-friendly floristry is increasingly popular; shops emphasise freshness, buy from local growers when they can and pay attention to seasonality, so arrangements are created from seasonal, fresh flowers. Flower boxes – modern compositions in elegant boxes – and arrangements in baskets are standard; bouquets come in many styles for every occasion, and flowers can be delivered with additional gifts to homes, offices and hotels. Well-rated florists combine a physical shop with e-commerce and offer wedding floristry, occasion bouquets and event decoration. Delivery across the city typically takes 3-4 hours (some shops quote 1-4), covers all districts, costs from 29 zł and arrives in aesthetic packaging with a card; some shops accept same-day orders until 18:00. Birthday bouquets are the most popular gift order; roses are given on Women’s Day; tulips symbolise spring and happiness; anniversary and Valentine’s bouquets and apology flowers are everyday orders. Funeral wreaths and condolence flowers are delivered in Warsaw too – elegant, subdued, chosen according to the family’s preferences. IFIORA’s own range covers hand-tied bouquets, mono and eco bouquets, flower boxes, baskets, roses, cut flowers by the stem, luxury flowers, potted plants, funeral sprays and wreaths, seasonal Easter bouquets and Christmas arrangements, and flowers and decorations for offices, hotels, restaurants and events; customer service is in Polish, English and Russian.

How to order from any district – or from abroad

Choose a bouquet at flower shop Warsaw – IFIORA: mixed and mono bouquets, roses, flower boxes, baskets, birthday, wedding and funeral arrangements in sizes S, M and L. Enter the card text – the greeting card is free and can be in any language – the Warsaw address and the recipient’s phone, choose standard or express timing, and pay online in PLN; cards are standard on Polish florist sites, and many also accept Apple Pay, so please check the payment step if that matters to you. You will receive a confirmation by email. Orders are accepted from any country – the recipient must be in Warsaw, the sender can be anywhere on the internet – and the studio answers by phone or WhatsApp at +48 883 338 113 or by email at info@ifiora.com during opening hours.

Thank you, birthdays and sympathy – what each district orders most

The occasions repeat across the map: birthdays first, then Valentine’s Day and Women’s Day, thank-you flowers for hosts and colleagues, and a gift box for a new flat. Sympathy flowers are ordered by phone so the studio can agree on the place and time with the funeral home. Every occasion, every district, the same time and price; the only detail that changes is the doorbell.
